Quality at MESA

Quality is not a final checkpoint. It is a responsibility carried through every stage of the product journey.

01

Quality Philosophy

At MESA, quality isn't measured at a single point in time. It's evaluated across the entire journey a product takes — from formulation development, through technical evaluation, sample testing and product planning, to the packaging that reaches the customer and the feedback that follows.

Quality is not a single checkpoint. It is a continuous responsibility, revisited at every stage.

02

Quality Before Production

Before a single unit is produced, MESA is already involved — evaluating technical requirements and quality standards, and considering how a product should be developed to meet its intended purpose.

European-origin raw materials are preferred as part of the current sourcing approach to product development.

03

Development Standards

Setting quality standards isn't a formality — it's a careful evaluation of what a product actually needs.

MESA considers a wide range of factors in its evaluation: alignment with GMP and ISO standards, experience — including experience with established brands and products — quality, and cost. No single factor decides the outcome; the goal is overall suitability for what the product requires.

04

Continuous Evaluation

MESA's quality process doesn't end once a product goes into production. Product planning and project processes are sustained through regular evaluation.

This includes periodic reviews, held at defined intervals, which give MESA the opportunity to evaluate quality processes directly.

05

Product & Sample Evaluation

MESA stays closely involved during product development — evaluating each formulation and considering how its ingredients align with the product's intended characteristics.

Samples are evaluated for taste and overall product experience. If a sample doesn't meet what was intended, the formulation is revised and reconsidered — the process continues until it does.

MESA's Kids lozenge is one example of this process currently underway — a formulation still being developed and evaluated, not yet a finished product.

06

Packaging & Product Information

MESA generally develops its own packaging designs — and quality doesn't stop at the formulation. It carries through to packaging consistency, the accuracy of product information, directions for use, warnings, and how a brand presents itself visually.

The principle is simple: the product, its information and its presentation should remain consistent.

07

Customer Feedback & Continuous Improvement

When MESA receives feedback or a product-related concern, it's evaluated and reviewed directly. Where necessary, a more detailed technical review is carried out.

From there, MESA determines the appropriate action — and what's learned informs future decisions and improvements, so the process keeps getting better.
